get to know me!
Hi there! My name is Lauren Canfield, I use she/her pronouns, and I am currently based in Chicago! Born and raised in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, I found a love and kinship for all things artsy from a very young age. My childhood was mainly comprised of lots of singing, dancing, acting like I was "the boss", putting on little shows in my living room with my older brothers for anyone who would watch, and hoping that I would grow up one day to be THE Hannah Montana. Storytelling and performing have been a pivotal part of my development as a human-being, and I always knew that I would need to do this for the rest of my life. My goal as a performer is to practice true advocacy and uplift voices that are necessary in this industry, and to use my platform to spread love and be a light to those who may need it. In my free time you can find me curating my monthly spotify playlists, start watching new shows that my friends know i'll probably never finish, driving around town in my subaru outback "silvermist" (yes, just like the fairy from the Tinkerbell franchise), collecting new records for my collection, reading, or sitting down with my guitar writing something new.
